Yanan(Nancy) joined Texas State in fall 2018. She is enthusiastic about studying natural systems, with a favor in high mountain environments. When trying to understand the complex processes and mechamisms in nature, it is useful to tackle down piece by piece, but ultimately they all have to be linked toghther to function as a system. I use this approach to research mountain glacier - climate - water system. Fun Fact: I was born and raised in the capitol city of the largest province in China, and now live in the capitol city of the largest State in the continental US. |
